CONGRESSIONAL LEADERS ASK COMMITTEE TO PURSUE TAX REFORM

Ways and Means Committee Chairman, Dave Camp (R-Mich.) and Senate Finance Committee Chairman, Max Baucus (D- Mont.) asked The Joint Committee on Taxation last week to continue comprehensive research to find ways for more tax reform.

Camp and Baucus want the JCT to find efficient ways to help Congress establish legislation that would lower taxes, broaden tax bases, and reform the cumbersome tax code.
